Los Angeles Chamber Chorale Philip Westin, Music Director and Conductor The Los Angeles Chamber Chorale was founded by Philip Westin in 1970. The group was comprised of sixteen singers: four sopranos, four mezzo-sopranos, four tenors, and four basses, drawn from the greater Los Angeles area. They performed regularly in various concert venues and churches in Los Angels and Orange counties. These pieces, all of which call for chorus, brass, timpani, and organ, were all recorded during a live performance at the First Methodist Church in Hollywood, California.
